The objective of this contract is to perform road and bridge maintenance, upgrade and construction works on BC Timber Sales Forest Service Roads within the Kootenay Lake Field Unit area. Project works assigned under this contract vary from basic repairs or routine maintenance and road deactivation to more complex work including implementation of measures of a structural or construction nature, prescribed by a Professional Engineer or Geoscientist. Additional activities may include structural upgrades, repairs and deactivation, and reconstruction of roads and bridges. The timing of works to be assigned will vary according to priority as assessed by BCTS. Some emergency services are also an expectation of this contract. Maintenance assignments are a “as and when needed” service. Questions related to this opportunity should be submitted to the Official Contact before this requested cut off date and time.
