Sealed bids are invited for the County Road 101 Preservation Project in Greenfield and East Freedom Townships, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Bidders must: - Submit an original bid in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Bid Proposal for Blair County Road 101 Preservation" with bidder's name and address. Electronic submissions are not permitted. - Ensure the bid is received by the specified deadline; late bids will not be accepted. - Avoid any omissions, alterations, additions, deductions not called for, conditional or uninvited alternative bids, or irregularities, as these shall be grounds for rejection. - Obtain bidding documents only from Keller Engineers, Inc., register at their office, and acquire all documents (including addenda) directly to be eligible to bid. - Be pre-qualified as specified in Section 102.01 of PennDOT Specifications Publication 408. - Include a bid security payable to the County of Blair, equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price, either as a certified or bank check or an unaltered bid bond issued by an acceptable surety and executed by the bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for thirty days after the bid opening. Bid security will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informality or irregularities, and accept any contract judged to be in the county's best interest. The county may consider the qualifications and experience of the bidders and proposed subcontractors when evaluating bids.
