Site work and new construction of a communication facility in Le Roy, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a communication facility.
The project consists of the replacement of the existing rotating beacon and pole at LeRoy Airport with a new medium intensity, L-801A, Class 1, LED rotating beacon, in a new location. The work includes the installation of a new foundation, tip-down pole, and all associated electrical wiring, fittings, and connections. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. A Federal DBE participation goal is included in the contract. Applicable sales tax must be included in submitted bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. The right is reserved to waive any informalities in the bid and to reject any and all bids.
