Site work and renovation of a civil project in Schwenksville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The work consists of all labor, equipment, materials, and other facilities necessary to complete the Schwenksville Wastewater Treatment Plant Tank Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation includes cleaning and grit removal of the existing steel treatment tank (the Authority will divert the flow and drain the tank), abrasive blasting the interior wall surfaces to be painted, painting the interior of the steel tank, installing new aeration drop pipes, diffusers, airlift piping and valves, the air supply header, and replacing the clarifier drive mechanism using a spare clarifier drive provided by the Authority. The reactor tank is to be returned to service, and all on-site restoration and punch list items are to be completed. Requirements include a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, 10% Maintenance Bond, and Contractor's Insurance. Each bidder must deposit security with their bid, as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids may be rejected at the Authority's discretion. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the requirements of the COVID-19 ARPA H2O PA grant. Bidders must comply with contract non-discrimination and sexual harassment provisions and name the Commonwealth Authority as Additionally Insured. Bids are invited from qualified bidders.
