Disclaimer: IN ORDER FOR YOUR BID TO BE CONSIDERED A LEGAL BONAFIDE BIDDER ON THE PROJECT, DOCUMENTS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM BRYSON & YATES CONSULTING ENGINEERS, LLC DIRECTLY. The proposed work includes site control, grading, earthwork, demolition of old HMA surfaces, installation of concrete building slabs, sidewalks, aprons, completion of electrical service, restoration, and clean-up. Each proposal bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, not exceeding $20,000, made payable to the Township of Monroe. All blank spaces in the proposal must be filled in, and no changes should be made to the phraseology of the proposals or the items mentioned. Any requested information must be included with the proposal. Any erasures, interpolations, or other physical changes on the bid form must be initialed or signed by the bidder. The successful bidder must furnish, within ten days after the award, a Surety Corporation Performance Bond or Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent of the contract price if the contract price exceeds $100,000. Applicable surety bonds or letters of credit must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List and authorized to do business in New Jersey. Bidders must comply with requirements of Affirmative Action, New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Disclosure Statement listing stockholders, Public Works Contractor Registration Act, and provide proof of New Jersey business registration for themselves and any named subcontractors. Bids must be prepared on the standard proposal forms, enclosed in a sealed envelope labeled as required, and addressed appropriately. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities, or accept the bid that best serves their interest.
