Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Haddonfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Hopkins Parcel Athletic Facility Improvements The project consists of demolition of existing site features and construction of walking paths, parking lot, stormwater and electrical improvements, a new synthetic turf athletic field, lighting improvements with final installation of the synthetic turf surfacing and infill by owner's consultant. The existing Cooley Hall building at this site was removed in May of 2025 and the 4.9 acre parcel has since been improved. The total disturbance / work area is 3.80 acres. All questions, comments, and inquiries shall be submitted to LAN (Attention: Mr. Jeff Potter at jeff.potter@lanassociates.com, with copy to Mr. Elio Qorri at Ellio.Qorri@lanassociates.com and Ms. Chloe Letteri at chloe.letteri@lanassociates.com) in writing and will be responded through Addenda sent to all bidders via email. Final Day for Questions to the Architect: Friday, March 13th, 2026, by 12:00 PM Notice of Award/Notice to Proceed, on or about: Thursday, March 26th, 2026 Substantial Completion (Field): Monday, August 3rd, 2026 Substantial Completion (Parking): Monday, August 31st, 2026 Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Haddonfield Board of Education, for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the total bid, however, not to exceed $20,000. Bidders are required to provide a Consent of Surety stating that if awarded the bid, said surety will provide a performance bond for 100% of the contract amount. Corporate bidders are required by law (Chapter 33, Laws of 1977) to submit a list of names and addresses of all stockholders owning 10% or more of their stock. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y), 18A:18A-4(a-c), and N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22, and to waive any informalities that may be in the best interest of the board.
