Renovation and addition to an educational facility in Haddonfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the addition of a two-story above grade educational facility; and two-story above grade educational facility.

Note that only Contract 20277.25.10B for this Project will be REBID. Contracts 20277.25.10A & 20277.25.10C relating to all work at J.F. Tatem Elementary School has previously been rejected and shall be eliminated from the Contract Documents in its entirety. Contract #25.10 covers Addition & Alterations to J.F. Tatem Elementary School and Addition & Alterations to E. Haddon Elementary School. The scope includes but is not limited to a 2nd Floor Addition (Media Center, classrooms, office, unisex toilet rooms, stairwell); stage alterations; kitchen alteration and expansion; library wing alterations. For E. Haddon, a 2nd floor addition (media center, classrooms, work room, unisex toilet rooms), Kindergarten classrooms converted to office suite, and a four-stop elevator addition with subsequent interior classroom alterations. Bidders must be prequalified in specified trade categories and should submit a single overall Lump Sum Bid. Submissions require various affidavits, a bid bond or check, a consent of surety, corporate stockholder disclosure, and are to comply with all relevant state laws regarding public contracts and prevailing wage. All bid documents are confidential and proprietary to the school district, and bidders must agree to keep them confidential and destroy or return them after use. Failure to comply with instructions or required forms may result in disqualification. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities in the best interest of the Board. Physical bid submission is required; electronic submissions will not be accepted. There are additional instructions and conditions regarding bid withdrawal, bid security, pre-bid meetings, and adherence to anti-discrimination and prevailing wage laws. The Scope of Work for the Addition and Alteration at Elizabeth Haddon Elementary School Includes, but is Not Limited to: Conversion of Existing Kindergarten Classrooms Into a New Main Entrance and Main Office Area With Administrative Offices, Conference Room, Testing Room, Guidance Counselor and Principal Offices, and Three Toilet Rooms. Second Floor Addition Including Four New Classrooms, a Media Center With Offices, Copy/work Room, Two Toilet Rooms, New Corridor and New Exit Stairs. New Four-stop Elevator Added to Existing Courtyard, and Renovations to the Courtyard And Adjacent Corridors to Provide Access to the Elevator. Conversion of Two Existing Classrooms Into Four Small Group Instruction (Sgi) Rooms. Replacement of Ceilings and Lighting in Lower Floor Rooms and Corridor Directly Below Upper Floor Addition.
