The scope includes but is not limited to a 2nd Floor Addition (Media Center, classrooms, office, unisex toilet rooms, stairwell); stage alterations; kitchen alteration and expansion; library wing alterations; and for E. Haddon, a 2nd floor addition (media center, classrooms, work room, unisex toilet rooms), Kindergarten classrooms converted to office suite, and a four-stop elevator addition with subsequent interior classroom alterations. Bidders must be prequalified in specified trade categories and should submit a single overall Lump Sum Bid. Submissions require various affidavits, a bid bond or check, a consent of surety, corporate stockholder disclosure, and are to comply with all relevant state laws regarding public contracts and prevailing wage. All bid documents are confidential and proprietary to the school district, and bidders must agree to keep them confidential and destroy or return them after use. Failure to comply with instructions or required forms may result in disqualification. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities in the best interest of the Board.
