Renovation of a mixed-use development in Haddonfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and theater / auditorium.

Contract #25.07 - Auditorium Renovation & Interior Alterations to Haddonfield Memorial High School. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: renovations to the existing 1923 Auditorium, Stage, and Mezzanine including new flooring, wall and trim repair and paint, and new house lighting. Seating is to be removed by contractor and procured and installed by Owner. Specialty Audio, Visual, and Theatrical Lighting to be procured and installed by Owner. Renovations to the below-stage Costume Room area including new plumbing fixtures. Classroom Renovations & Alterations to convert two classrooms to a Computer Classroom and Fabrication Lab. Alterations to create a Secure Vestibule with transaction window. Bidders must submit a lump sum bid for all work and materials. Bidders must be prequalified in the appropriate trade categories or name such prequalified subcontractors. All necessary bid specifications and forms are available electronically upon request. Bids must be submitted sealed and delivered to the Haddonfield Board of Education. The bid envelope must include the project title, name and address of the bidder, and the bid opening date and time. Instructions to bidders include: Submit a Prequalification Affidavit, a copy of a valid and active Notice of Classification, a certified copy of the Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts Form, and an Affidavit of no material adverse change in qualification information. Failure to submit these forms may result in disqualification. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check for ten percent of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000. A Consent of Surety is required stating that a performance bond for 100% of the contract amount will be provided if awarded. Corporate bidders must submit a list of all stockholders owning 10% or more of their stock. Additional required documents must be completed and returned with the bid. All contractors must have a Contractor's Registration Certificate at the time of proposal receipt. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty days after bid opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. All drawings and bid documents are proprietary and confidential, and are to be kept strictly confidential. Bidders must agree to dispose of, destroy, and/or return bid documents within three days of bid submission date.
