Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project consists of multiple repairs of asphalt roadways with a combined amount of approximately 11,000 Square Yards per Lake Havasu City Specifications using contractor supplied Hot Mix Asphalt. The contractor will be responsible for scheduling this project with the City Representative in a time frame not to exceed 90 calendar days. Work will include the supply of all labor, supervision, traffic control, Hot Mix Asphalt, any other related materials, mobilization, demobilization, tools and equipment, testing, insurance and Workers' Compensation. The removal, lowering, adjustment and re-installation of 13 water valve concrete collars and 7 Manhole concrete collars. Remove and replace and disposal of existing 3 asphalt pavement in numerous locations: Daytona Ave. from Impala to 2604 Daytona Ave. (approximately 6350 S.Y.), Kearsage Dr. at Marshall Dr. (approximately 625 S.Y.), Acoma Blvd. at Palo Verde S. (North of intersection, approximately 270 S.Y.), Chemehuevi Blvd. from Silver King to Chemehuevi Pl. (approximately 3,100 S.Y.), Malahini Dr. at Riverbelle Dr. (approximately 400 S.Y.). Saw cutting, grading, compaction of base material, replacement of the asphalt pavement as specified. Any asphalt work deemed unacceptable by the City Representative shall be removed and replaced at the contractors expense. Sealed bids must be clearly addressed with the Project Number and the bidders name and address on the envelope, received by the City Clerk's Office no later than the specified time and date. All bids must be completed in ink or typewritten on a form from the specifications and a complete Invitation for Bid returned along with the offer by the specified time. Bidders may submit bids electronically via the Citys DemandStar Network or submit paper bids and paper bid bonds. Bidders submitting e-Bids must scan and enclose their paper bid bond/cashiers check with their electronic submission. The apparent low bidder must submit their original bid bond/cashiers check within three business days following the Bid opening.
