Install Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning System (HVAC) in Building 71 by providing full Architect/Engineer design services, including field investigations, studies, schematic design, design development, construction documents, cost estimating, and construction period services. Work includes replacing floor-mounted four-pipe fan coil units on the south side of the building with ceiling-mounted four-pipe fan coil units, replacing the variable refrigerant flow system on the north side with ceiling-mounted four-pipe fan coil units, providing and installing ventilation ductwork to the existing south energy-recovery ventilator, and using the existing VRF system as a backup for the ERVs located in the attic. The design shall meet all VA guidance and comply with funding limitations to support the award of a construction contract within the estimated magnitude of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The A/E shall complete all design work within 180 calendar days, including VA review periods, and must prepare deliverables in accordance with all applicable VA standards and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
