Renovation of a municipal facility in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The scope of work is to provide the Lake Zurich Public Works Building BAS Upgrade. Bids are requested from qualified firms and/or individuals. Each bid must be placed in a sealed envelope and clearly marked for the specified project. A bid bond or certified check payable to the Village of Lake Zurich for 10% of the bid total is required with each bid. A 100% performance bond will be required from the successful bidder. The successful bidder must warrant and guarantee that the bid price will be firm with no escalation at time of service. The Village of Lake Zurich reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, and to waive any technicality, informality, or irregularity in the proposals received, and to disregard nonconforming or conditional proposals or counter-proposals. The Village further reserves the right to award the proposal to the most responsible bidder whose offer best responds in quality, fitness, and capacity to the requirements of the proposed work or usage, and is in the best interest of the Village. Scope of Work: 1. The existing Delta building automation system shall be completely removed at the completion of the project. 2. The new building automation system shall be Carrier i-Vu. All controllers shall be Carrier TruVu or Open controllers as detailed herein unless specifically defined. No exceptions. Specific controllers are listed, but it is the responsibility of the bidder to verify necessary physical I/O requirements, program requirements, and enclosure fit. 3. If any conflicts arise between the scope of work, sequence of operations, or points list; the more stringent shall be applicable. 4. Energie Consulting & Controls shall be the provider of items "a." through "g." which will be provided by the Village of Lake Zurich. Energie Consulting & Controls contact information can be found in item "h." a. Update XT-RB driver to BACnet/SC drv_gen5_108-06-20206 b. Sign XT-RB BACnet SC certificate c. Setup XT-RB parameters to connect to existing Lake Zurich Public Works i-Vu Cloud d. Coordinate with Lake Zurich IT e. Assign Installer access for Public Works project f. Assign bacnet network, device instances, bacnet mstp network numbers g. Update Lake Zurich Public Works Landing page h. Contact: David Anderson, david.anderson@energiecc.com, (224) 501-6424 5. General a. Existing Mechanical Plans provided for reference. It is the responsibility of the bidder to verify all existing system locations. b. Existing RIB relays - all relays will be replaced with new i. RIBRL1S relays for AHU/MAU ii. RIBU1C for VAV electric & baseboard heat iii. RIBU1S for Vehicle Storage Exhaust fans iv. RIB24P30 miscellaneous systems c. Existing transformers - all existing transformers to be replaced with new d. All end devices shall be replaced with new unless specifically stated to re-use existing device e. All damper actuators shall be replaced with new Belimo spring return actuators. Vehicle storage shall have end switches f. Pressure transmitters - any Modus Intruments transmitter shall be replaced g. Office building (AHU, MAU, VAVs) communication shall be ethernet Cat5e h. For any existing sensor or communication wiring that is re-used. Company shall include coverage within warranty. i. Vehicle maintenance, storage building, new RTU controller, and OPN-UPC systems shall be bacnet mstp wire. i. For new communication installed - single twisted pair, low capacitance, CL2P, 22AWG, TC foam FEP, plenum rated cable j. RNET cable - 4 conductor, unshielded, CMP, plenum rated cable, 18 AWG, red (+12v), black (Rnet-), white (Rnet+), green (GND) k. Wire type i. 24vac - 2 conductor, unshielded, CM plenum rated cable, 18 AWG ii. Analog/Binary - 22 AWG, unshielded <100 ft, shielded >100 ft l. ZS Sensors shall be ZS2-CAR m. Update all Carrier TruVu and Open controllers to latest driver available at project completion.
