Reference Number 0000417147 Bid Intent Not Available Douglas County ("Owner" or the "County") is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit commercial and technical proposals ("Proposals") from bidders ("Respondents") for the site contractor to construct a new fence at the DOT Maintenance Complex located at 8251 Chicago Avenue and at the Public Works Transfer Station Complex located at 1730 County Services Road , (the "Project"). Capitalized terms in this RFP, if not defined here, are defined in the Agreement (defined below) for the Project. Refer to the included bidding documents and contract documents for the full project scope. Location #1- DOT Maintenance Complex located at 8251 Chicago Avenue: the project scope includes the installation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of eight-foot fence along Chicago Ave including (2) twentyfoot motorized gate systems for the employee and truck entrance. The new fence will be installed in the same location as the existing fence in front of the DOT Maintenance Complex. Douglas County will be responsible for all demolition of the existing fence, trees and debris. The County will also be responsible for installing power, access control, and Knox Box for both gates. Location #2- Public Works Transfer Station Complex located at 1730 County Services Road: the project scope includes the installation of approximately 1,500 linear feet of eight-foot black coated chain-link fence including two 4' walk gates at the new Douglas County Waste Transfer Station. The new fence will be installed in front of the two detention ponds located behind the Transfer Station.
