Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Caruthersville, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a four-room transportation facility.

Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and performing all work necessary for a 4-unit box hangar and taxilanes at the Caruthersville Memorial Airport. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five percent of the total amount of the bid, by certified check or bid bond made payable to City of Caruthersville. Bids may be held for up to 120 days from the date of the bid opening for evaluation prior to the award of contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractors must comply with the Davis-Bacon Act and Missouri Prevailing Wage Law, paying the highest wage rate between federal and state standards for each job classification. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be given full and fair opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, or national origin. The project has a contract goal of zero percent participation for DBE but bidders must make and document good faith efforts to meet this. Additional subject federal provisions include affirmative action, Davis-Bacon Act requirements, debarment and suspension, foreign trade restrictions, and Buy American Preferences.
