Sealed proposals are requested for a lease-leaseback contract for the McKinley Elementary School New Campus Project (Increment 2: Building Package). The lowest price proposal will be determined from the proposed fee. Attendance at a mandatory pre-proposal conference is required for eligibility to submit proposals. Only contractors who are licensed with a Class "B" license in the State of California at the time of award and maintain it in good standing are eligible. Proposers must be prequalified and comply with public works labor and registration requirements. Successful proposers will be required to provide a Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent of the Total Sublease Amount. Securities or escrow may be substituted in lieu of retainage as described. The contractor must also comply with prevailing wage, skilled and trained workforce requirements, and other applicable labor codes and contract documents.
