Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Sealed proposals will be received for the construction/repair and/or installation of improvements at the Kurtz Opportunity Center Playground under Bid No. CIP 26033. Plans and specifications can be obtained from Beeline and Blue, 2507 Ingersoll Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50312, with a deposit required for each set of documents. Bids must be submitted on the approved bid form as found in the plans and specifications. No oral, facsimile, telegraphic, or telephonic bids or modifications will be accepted. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashiers check, or certified credit union share draft for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount in a separate envelope. For more details on bid bond requirements, refer to the instructions to bidders. Lump-sum bids will be accepted under one contract as described in the specifications. The Board of Directors may award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder meeting specifications, but reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities. Work must commence immediately after the contract award and be completed within 180 calendar days after the notice to proceed, subject to any extensions granted by the Board. Preference will be given to products and labor from within Iowa as required by statutory authority. Question Deadline 03/30/2026 Requests for clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents will be submitted by the Bidder in writing and will be received by the Architect at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of Bids.
