Site work for a water / sewer project in Morgantown, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes construction of approximately 2,179 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer line, one doghouse manhole, one drop manhole, one drop doghouse manhole, sixteen standard manholes, and all other related appurtenances. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the specified instructions, using the two-envelope system. Only Plan Holders of Record who have obtained official bidding documents may submit bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond equal to at least five percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to execute and file the Agreement, Insurance Certificate, and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen days after the Notice of Award. Bidders must comply with all applicable Local, State, and Federal labor laws and provide a signed Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit in the first envelope. Contractors must have a valid and current General Engineering Contractor License from the State of West Virginia and meet all statutory qualifications required for the work. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed to all parties recorded by Owner as having received the Bidding documents.
