Renovation of an office development in Kent, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,100-square-foot office development.
Sealed bids for a single prime contract bid will be received for furnishing the materials and performing the labor for the renovation of an 8,100 square foot administrative office space for public use as indicated in the contract documents. Instructions to bidders: Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope by the specified date and time and marked accordingly. PARTA reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive informalities in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty days of the bid opening. Documents and bid forms are available for purchase at actual cost. If addenda are issued, plan holders are responsible for requesting and paying for copies. Bidders must certify they are not on the Comptroller General's list of ineligible contractors. Bidders who are disbarred, suspended, or proposed for debarment by the state of Ohio or the federal government will be disqualified. Equal Employment Opportunity conditions and federal prevailing wage rates apply. Minimum wage rate requirements under the applicable Ohio Revised Code chapter are also required.
