Bids are being accepted for finish improvements at Lake and Olson Hall at Kent State University (Main Campus) as per contract documents. Bids must comply with prevailing wage rates, Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, and the State of Ohio's Encouraging Diversity, Growth, and Equity (EDGE) Business Development Program, with a 5.0 percent EDGE participation goal. The project requires compliance with Executive Orders regarding services performed in the United States and restrictions related to Russian institutions or companies. Domestic steel use requirements apply. Bidders should be enrolled in a Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) Program approved by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation. The contractor is responsible for scheduling the project, coordinating subcontractors, and providing other required services. Bidders must submit substitution requests for products, equipment, or services no later than 10 days prior to bid opening, and substitutions may only be accepted by written addendum.
