Description

Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Kent, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project.

Removal and demolition of existing Grit Building No. 1 and No. 2, Detritus Tank No. 1 and No. 2, Screen Compactor, and Screen Building, and overflow gate, along with associated concrete channels and structures. Removal includes control panels, wiring, and related equipment and appurtenances. Construction of a new Headworks Building with Screens, Screening Compactors, Grit Washer and Classifier, Electrical Room, and basement with access to Grit pumps. The work also includes the construction of a Grit Tank and the installation of new equipment. Additional requirements are concrete restoration and replacement, asphalt repair, all electrical, SCADA, and IT work necessary for the installation and operation of new equipment, and site restoration as required. Interested firms should submit three copies of the Letter of Interest. Requirements for Letters of Interest are available by contacting the City of Kent Division of Engineering.
