The intent is to select a contractor for the installation of an architectural backdrop wall in the Garden Room at the Dixie Convention Center located at 1835 Convention Center Drive, St. George, UT 84790. The Scope of Work for this project requires the selected contractor to provide creative ideas, conceptual designs, detailed architectural drawings, material specifications, and full construction services for a new architectural backdrop wall installed behind the stage in the Garden Room at the Dixie Convention Center. This approximately 7,078 sq. ft. round atrium-style room, often used for banquets, receptions, meetings feature a stage area (standard sets typically 24 x 8 per venue guidelines) where the backdrop will serve as a prominent visual focal point to enhance aesthetics, branding, event theming, and overall ambiance. The contractor shall deliver initial concept proposals (including sketches, mood boards, and renderings), incorporate feedback from Dixie Center staff and stakeholders, finalize approved designs compliant with building codes, fire safety regulations, structural requirements, and venue standards (e.g., durable, low-maintenance materials suitable for high-traffic public use, integration with existing lighting/AV systems, and minimal disruption to operations), then execute complete fabrication and on-site installation, including any necessary structural supports, electrical integration (if illuminated features are included), finishing, and cleanup. All work must prioritize safety, quality craftsmanship, and coordination with facility management for scheduling during off-peak or non-event periods, with the contractor furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits (if required), insurance, and incidentals to achieve a professional, durable, and visually striking result.
