The work includes providing construction services for the installation of new egress doors and egress modifications at the HEERC DUNE Cold Lab, including an optional egress door. The subcontractor shall perform all work described in the Statement of Work and exhibits, including transportation, overhead, bonding costs, insurance, safety oversight, quality control oversight, and supervision required to construct the project. The base scope includes: _ Demolition of exterior glass and framing system on west elevation adjacent to north entrance door to the HEERC building. Concrete curb must also be removed to facilitate installation of new door. _ Installation of new exterior egress door and additional framing and glazing as required to make the facade weathertight. _ Installation of new emergency exit signage at new egress door. _ Modifications to existing room door hardware in southeast corner of room to include a crash bar, plus addition of new emergency exit signage at existing door. _ Floor markings as shown on drawings.
