Renovation of a mixed-use development in Johnson City, Tennessee. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Renovation of Building 204 Cardiology for construction of a new second catheterization laboratory, including furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and performance of all work in strict accordance with project drawings and specifications prepared by an Architectural-Engineering firm. Work includes general construction, alterations, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work; utility systems; fire protection systems; abatement; demolition and removal of existing structures and related appurtenances; and all items necessary for completion. Requirements include compliance with VA Technical Information Library standards and all applicable local and national codes; adherence to working-hour limitations; implementation of Infection Control Risk Assessments, containment barriers, and Interim Life Safety Measures; coordination of responsibilities between the contractor and equipment vendor; and completion of all work within 730 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. Contractors must conduct site investigations to understand conditions and limitations and provide all supervision, tools, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and testing. Period of Performance for all work is 730 calendar days. The estimated cost magnitude is between $10,000,000.00 and $15,000,000.00. Location: James H.
