Sealed bids are requested for the improvement of Beards Cove Larson Lake Drive Water Main Replacement, Road No 89250, from Jolly Roger Lane to Larson Boulevard, Project 10525-03. Major bid items include mobilization, crushed surfacing top course, crushed surfacing base course, gravel backfill for pipe zone bedding, 8" Class 52 ductile iron water pipe, HMA CL., temporary traffic control, and other items in conformance with the 2025 WSDOT Standard Specifications and the Special Provisions for this project. All contractors submitting a bid proposal must attend the required pre-bidding walkthrough at the specified location and time. The Board reserves the right to schedule additional pre-bid meetings as needed. Bid documents are available online, and it is recommended that bidders register to receive notifications of addenda. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit of five percent (5%) of the bid amount, as a Surety Bond, Cash, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check. The proposal bond should be on DOT Form 272-001A Revised 05/13 for Local Agency Use. Proposals must be in writing on furnished forms, in a sealed 12 x 9 envelope, with the project name and date of bid opening indicated on the front bottom left corner, and filed with the Clerk of the Board of County Commissioners by the specified deadline. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject bids on each item separately or as a whole, to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to contract in the best interest of Mason County.
