Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brighton Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The scope of work includes approximately 11,000 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, and 2” Superpave WMA wearing course; base repair; keyway milling; line striping; add alternates for additional paving, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $125.00 from QuestCDN using project number 10007385. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Township. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township to guarantee the bidder's entrance into the contract if given the award. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3; and for contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
