Sealed bids are requested for the Construction of Adams Avenue Reconditioning. Major items of bid include pulverizing the existing asphalt surface, shaping, grading and compacting, salvaging pulverized asphalt base, supplying and placing 3/4" base aggregate dense, 1 1/4 " base aggregate dense, and 3" base aggregate dense or 5" minus select crushed base, supplying and installing geotextile fabric, excavation, sanitary sewer replacement, storm sewer replacement, water service installation, erosion control, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway installation, asphalt paving, site restoration, and traffic control. Bidders must submit a secured bid as specified in the Information for Bidders. Paper and electronic copies of documents are available through Morgan & Parmley, Ltd. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, including Minority and Women Business Enterprises, are encouraged to submit proposals. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the bid opening. Contractors must include their telephone number, fax number, and email address when requesting plans.
