Sealed bids are invited for furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment required for West Street Paving Improvements and other necessary or incidental work as per the plans and specifications. The work area is on West Street between 3rd Street and 4th Street. The project generally includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct PCC pavement, driveway pavement, pavement removal, excavation, sanitary sewer pipe, manholes, storm sewer pipe, storm sewer inlets, traffic control, mobilization, and miscellaneous work including cleanup. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Security of not less than 5% of the bid amount, payable to the City of Ponca. The successful bidder will enter into a contract at the bid prices and furnish the required Certificate of Insurance within ten days after acceptance. Plans and specifications are available for examination or purchase, and electronic copies may be obtained by request. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to make awards on bids in the best interest of the Owner, and also reserves the right to reject any or all bids. In order to be eligible to submit a bid, the prospective bidder must register and receive the bidding documents directly from the Engineer All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
