The Village of Des Moines is accepting sealed proposals for Phase 2 Little Red House Daycare - Exterior Construction (Design/Build). Proposals must include material costs and labor costs. Packets must be clearly labeled with the RFP number and be delivered either by mail or in person to specified addresses. Late submissions will not be accepted. The selected provider will provide contractual services and all materials for the project. Construct the exterior 28X60 Building with skirting, Decking with over head coverage , sidewalk, ramp, and parking area. o Excavation, grading, and compaction for concrete parking area. o Installation of 6" reinforced concrete parking surface with drainage considerations. o Construction of a 10' x 18' pressure-treated deck with Trex composite decking, roof, and railings. o Fabrication and installation of an 8' x 4' platform ramp with pressure-treated framing and Trex decking. o Construction of a 24' ADA-compliant ramp with full railing system, concrete footings, and landings. o Installation of commercial-grade building skirting with venting and access panels. o Pouring and finishing of ADA-compliant concrete sidewalks. o Installation of 5' commercial-grade perimeter fencing with three self-closing gates. o Fully completed exterior construction as specified. o Compliance with ADA standards and local building codes. o All materials and workmanship to meet or exceed New Mexico rural contractor quality standards.
