Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the 2026 Asphalt Street Resurfacing project. The project consists of 9,300 square yards of cold milling and 1,500 tons of hot mix asphalt overlay. Bids will be accepted for a single prime contract and must be submitted on a unit price basis as specified in the bid form. Work must commence within ten calendar days from the Notice to Proceed and be substantially completed on or before August 31, 2026, with final completion by September 15, 2026, subject to any extensions granted. Bid security must be furnished as specified in the instructions, and no bid may be withdrawn within 30 days after the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities and informalities, and award the contract in the owner's best interest. Bidding documents are available for a fee and may be examined or obtained as instructed. No pre-bid conference will be held. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
