Renovation of a swimming pool in Raton, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
The work shall generally consist of removal and replacement of existing sand filtration equipment and associated piping, installation of new filtration equipment, valves, media, and associated electrical work necessary to integrate the filtration system with the existing control system at the aquatic center. Work shall also include replacement of VGBA-compliant drain covers at designated locations, preparation and acid washing of the pool floor surface, and repair of cracks in the deep end of the pool using urethane injection or an approved equivalent method suitable for submerged aquatic structures. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the amount bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Complete sets of bidding documents are available for download on the City's website or by contacting the City Treasurer/Chief Procurement Officer. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled and is optional for Bidders and is not a mandatory requirement for bid submittal.
