Demolition and site work for a bridge / tunnel in Mill Valley, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
The Engineer's Estimate for this project's Base Bid is $322,000. The work generally consists of mobilization, traffic control, demolition and removal of existing arched culverts within the roadway, installation of new galvanized, corrugated arched culvert storm drains, and patch hot mix asphalt pavement, clean-up of the project area, and other items of work as shown on the plans. Sealed proposals will be received at the Department of Public Works. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond equal to 10% of the total bid amount. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose proposal complies with prescribed requirements. The contractor must possess a valid Class "A" License at the time the contract is awarded. Bids are required for the entire work described. Disadvantaged business and woman owned business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation.
