The City of Santa Ana (CSA) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Design-Build services to renovate Cabrillo Park restrooms and concession building to meet latest ADA and building codes, along with associated site and utility work. For purposes of this RFP, any reference to “Consultant” or “Contractor” shall be construed to mean the Progressive Design-Builder (DB) team. This interpretation shall not modify or limit any definitions contained in the resulting Agreement. The Scope of work includes, but is not limited to utility investigation (sewer, water, electrical), civil engineering, preparation of plans, specifications and estimate, selective demolition of existing restroom facilities, construction of restroom facilities, structural elements, lighting, plumbing fixtures, restroom accessories, and finishes for the building interior and exterior, utility connections, and completion of adjacent site improvements. It is expected that selected Design-Builder will provide comprehensive services for the planning, design, and construction of Cabrillo Park restrooms and concession building in two phases under a single Progressive Design-Build Agreement.
