NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County, Nevada (RTC) is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the Traffic Signal Modifications 26-01 Project. This project will make the following improvements: Clarification Deadline 4/2/2026 4:00 PM All questions must be submitted on RTC's Procurement website Anticipated Intent to Award Letter: Monday, April 13, 2026 North McCarran Boulevard / York Way: Efficiency improvements on the east and west approaches; improve signal head visibility on McCarran southbound. Rock Boulevard / Greg Street: Convert southbound left turn to improve safety. Rock Boulevard / Commerce Street: Upgrade existing pedestrian crossing system to rapid rectangular flashing beacons (RRFBs). Galleria Parkway / Costa Azul Drive: Improve signal head visibility on Galleria southbound. California Avenue / Plumas Street: Install dedicated left turn signals for all four intersection approaches. Kietzke Lane / Neil Road: Install RRFBs at the roundabout crosswalks. South McCarran Boulevard / Caughlin Parkway / Cashill Boulevard: Install active advanced warning system for McCarran Boulevard southbound due to limited sight distance.
