Renovation of a medical facility in Chester, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The Department of Human Services is seeking a vendor for an in-kind replacement two (2) existing domestic hot water heat exchangers, two (2) storage tanks, two (2) pumps and motors, and two (2) pneumatic steam regulators at the Chester Mental Health Center, located at 1315 Lehmen Drive, Chester, IL. The Chester MHC is seeking to replace: Two (2) existing domestic hot water heat exchangers; Existing heat exchangers are part of the storage tank and steam tube bundle. Two (2) storage tanks (250 gallons or larger); Existing storage tanks are Serial No # PS-3967-J1 & PS-3967-J2, Old Dominion Iron & Stell Corp, Max Allow. Work Pressure 125 PSI, Max Allow. Work Temp. 250F, Shell Thickness 1/4 In. Two (2) pumps and motors; Existing pumps and motors Bell & Gossett - ITT Industries, Size 1510 BF 6.6, Max W.P PSI 175, GPM 60, HP 1.5, RPM 1750 Two (2) pneumatic steam regulators; Existing steam regulators are Model # Q29009, Old Dominion Iron & Steel Corp. Replacement system shall provide redundancy through a parallel configuration so one heat exchanger/storage tank/pump/etc. can be serviced without interrupting the operation of the other. Tankless domestic hot water heaters are permissible in conjunction with storage tanks. Tube and bundle heat exchangers are permissible.
