Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Savanna, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.
Demolition and asbestos abatement services are required for the Pool 13 Building at 613 Broderick Drive in the City of Savanna. All work must comply with City of Savanna Ordinances. Bidders must comply with the Prevailing Wage Act, ensuring that laborers and mechanics are paid no less than the locally prevailing wages and fringe benefits for similar work in the area. Contractors and each subcontractor shall pay at least the prevailing wage rates indicated for Illinois - Carroll County. Sealed bids must be properly marked and submitted to City Hall by the stated deadline. The City of Savanna reserves the right to waive any informality or technicality and to reject any or all bids. Expected Notice to Proceed will be given upon approval of the demolition permit, receipt of performance bond, and completion of a mandatory pre-demolition meeting with the City of Savanna Public Works Superintendent.
