Demolition and renovation of an educational facility in Fresno, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and educational facility.
The project involves the replacement of the HVAC system in the boys and girls locker rooms at Yosemite Middle School, with the addition of a makeup air system for both locker rooms and the installation of split units in the coaches' offices. The scope includes the demolition of the existing HVAC system and associated paint and patch work on walls. Prime Contractors must possess a valid Class "B" Contractor's License. All bids must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid amount. Disabled veteran business enterprises must be given full opportunity to participate, with a goal of three percent of the contract value. Bids must be submitted through the District's Procureware portal, accompanied by the DVBE Declaration. A mandatory pre-bid conference and job-walk are required for prospective prime bidders. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any combination thereof, and to waive any legally waivable irregularities or informalities. DISTRICT hereby notifies all bidders that they will affirmatively ensure that in any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disabled veteran business enterprises (DVBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, creed, sex or national origin in consideration for award. The DVBE goal for the project is as follows: three percent (3%) of the dollar amount of the Contract. Prime Contractor must have a valid Class "B" Contractor's License. The time allowed for completion for the project shall be 170 Calendar days. The Architect/Engineers' estimate for this project is around $900,000 (estimate as of February 2026). The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, or any combination of bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities which may be legally waived.
