Renovation of a multi-residential development in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is seeking quotes from qualified contractors for the Storefront Door Replacement at Lorain Square Apartments. All contractors are encouraged to carefully evaluate the project scope of work in the exhibits and to attend the site visit to better understand the existing site conditions. Proposals should be submitted as instructed. Toe project consists of replacing the two front entrance doors of the building, matching the existing door layout, and maintaining the current door openings. This project includes Project Contingencies in the amount of $3,500.00 SCOPE OF WORK o Remove and replace two (2) existing aluminum frame doors. o Work includes: 1. Removal and disposal of (2) existing aluminum storefront doors and frames 2. Toe new doors must match the finish, layout, and dimensions of the existing doors 3. Furnish and install (2) new commercial-grade aluminum frame doors 4. New tempered safety glass (if applicable) 5. New panels at the bottom section of the door match the existing ones. (used pictures as references) 6. New heavy-duty continuous hinges 7. Closers (surface-mounted) 8. Weatherstripping and door sweeps 9. Sealant and perimeter caulking 10. Minor patching/adjustments to existing opening as required 11. Cleanup and debris removal 12. Paint the 4 exterior exit doors of the building (36" x 80") from the inside and outside (two coats each side, paint to be decided and approved by the management team) 13. All work to be installed plumb, level, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications. 14. Door measurements: Main entrance door to the lobby area 7'11" tall by 10'5" wide. Secondary entrance door close to rear parking lot, 7'11" tall by 11'4" wide. The contractor must verify in the field before ordering the doors. Any questions related to this work are to be in a written form addressed to the Project Manager on this job. The cost of extending the Bond and the cost of extending liability, property damage, and builder's risk of specialty coverage insurance.
