Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Provo, Utah. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 85,000-square-foot educational facility; and 160,000-square-foot educational facility.
Question Deadline 03/31/2026 at 2:00 PM MT Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted via the U3P portal. The CM/GC must be capable of and willing to work closely with Provo City School District representatives and the selected architect (Core Architecture) through the demolition of existing Dixon Middle School and the design phase, providing cost estimates, schedules, and feedback on design details, phasing, and availability of materials selected. The demolition of the existing facility is approximately 160,000 square feet, and the new building is anticipated to be approximately 85,000 square feet. Coordination between the CM/GC and the Architect may begin as early as May 1, or upon execution of the contract. Construction is projected to commence in July 2026, with substantial completion targeted for June 2028. The Fixed Limit of Construction Cost (FLCC) for the CM/GC is $39,530,000. It is anticipated that this RFP will result in a single contract award to the responsive and responsible vendor with the highest score justified by the procurement code. This contract will remain in place until completion of the project and approval of the District.
