Bluebell Sidewalk Accessibility Improvements for the Housing Authority of the City of Livermore. Section 3, minority- and/or women-owned businesses are encouraged to respond. The Housing Authority of the City of Livermore (hereinafter, "the Agency") is a public entity that provides federally subsidized housing and housing assistance to low-income families within the City of Livermore, California. The Agency is headed by an Executive Director and governed by a seven-person Board of Commissioners. Currently, the Agency owns and/or manages: o 42 units of multi-family apartment complexes o 125 units of Project-Based Section 8 housing (formerly Low-Income Public Housing) o Administration of 737 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers The Agency currently has approximately 12 full-time regular employees. In March 2024, the Agency was designated as a Moving to Work (MTW) agency. The Agency also has one nonprofit affiliate that owns the 125-unit former Public Housing property. The Agency is seeking bids from qualified, licensed, and insured contractors to perform sidewalk and accessibility improvements. All bids must meet the requirements in this document and its attachments.
