Paving and renovation of a multi-residential development in Torrington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Torrington Housing Authority is seeking sealed bids for the project entitled Thompson Heights - Exterior Concrete Stair Replacement. Bidders must furnish 5% Bid Security for bids over $25,000 and 100% Performance/Payment Bonds for contracts over $100,000. Bidders are required to comply with minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination/equal opportunity rules (Executive Order 11246), and related provisions in the General Conditions. The project is federally assisted and requires compliance with the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; Equal Opportunity provisions of Executive Order 11246; Non-Discrimination provision of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Labor Standards provisions of the Davis-Bacon Act and related acts and Contract Work Hours Standards Act; prevailing wage determinations by the United States Department of Labor; and all applicable provisions under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974.
