Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Torrington, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
Project work includes the construction of two sand volleyball courts with rubber curbing and underdrainage, stone dust walks, chain link fencing improvements, and associated miscellaneous work. Bidders must register on the City's website to download the bid documents. No fax or email bids will be accepted. No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications, or other pre-bid documents will be made orally; all requests must be in writing and received by the specified deadline. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the project site. A bid bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, shall accompany each bid along with a performance bond and a labor & materials bond. A non-collusion statement and any addendum acknowledgement must also be submitted at the time of the bid. Question Deadline 05/13/2026 at 12:00 PM ET All requests for interpretation of plans or documents must be received in writing by this time.
