Land surveying services are required to prepare a Brownfield Property Survey Plat per North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NC DEQ) standards for an 11.72-acre site located at 423 North Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, Salisbury, NC 28144 (PID 016 183). The Survey Plat will be used as part of the City’s Brownfields Agreement with the NC DEQ. Environmental monitoring has already been conducted on the site, and the selected firm will receive coordinates for all sample site locations. Proposals must include all transportation charges prepaid and be submitted on the provided forms or by email on company letterhead. Sales tax must be included in the bid amount. Deviations from specifications must be clearly identified and explained in detail, but there is no guarantee such deviations will be accepted. Awards will be based on the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, considering quality, performance, and time specified for performance. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, make awards on individual or group items, and terminate or cancel the contract with 30 days' written notice. All bids are subject to the provisions of the attached General Contract Terms and Conditions. Bidder terms and conditions included in submitted documentation are waived and have no effect. Minority, women, and disabled business participation is encouraged.
