This project entails the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalks and driveway aprons along the west side of Hartt Road from W. 10th Street to W. 12th Street and W. 10th Street from Hartt Road to Montpelier Avenue. Newly installed sidewalks must meet all criteria of the Proposed Accessibility Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities in Public Rights of Way, as most recently amended, the 2010 ADA Standard as amended, and the Millcreek Township Code. All restoration is included in the bid. This project is subject to coverage under the Davis-Bacon and related acts. Contract Documents, including drawings and technical specifications, may be reviewed or obtained at the office of the Millcreek Township Engineering Department or sent via email. Any Contractor intending to submit a bid must provide a non-refundable deposit of $25.00, as proof of receipt for contract document delivery. Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those who have obtained the Contract Documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified or cashier's check or bid bond with corporate surety payable to Millcreek Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid price. Bids may be held by the Township for up to 60 days from the date of opening for review and investigation of the qualifications of bidders before awarding the contract. Millcreek Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities or minor deviations in the bidding. Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to Millcreek Township. Any inquiry received seven (7) or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration.
