Separate and sealed proposals are being solicited for the "2024 Multimodal Street Reconstruction - Wilmerding" project. Bid documents, including Information for Bidders, Contract, Form of Proposal, Bid Forms, Plans and Specifications, are available for examination or purchase for bidding purposes from Glenn Engineering & Associates. There is a non-refundable fee per set of documents, with an extra charge for mailing. Documents will not be issued within 48 hours of the scheduled bid opening. The contract is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Workers must be paid no less than the prevailing minimum wages set on the relevant schedule. All bidders must submit a bid bond equal to 10% of the bid, using a certified check, bank cashier’s check, or other guaranteed negotiable instrument from a commercial bank. The Borough reserves the right to judge the sufficiency of the bid bond and to accept or reject any or all bids or parts of bids, waive any informalities or irregularities, and adjust quantities as needed. No bid will be accepted after the specified deadline. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after submission. The Borough may reject any or all bids and waive any informalities in the bids received.
