Description

Renovation of a fire / police facility in San Luis, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 19,000-square-foot fire / police facility.

Sealed bids are requested for providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services necessary for roof repair at the City of San Luis Fire Station No. 1. The work includes 14,000 sq. ft. of sloped roof with clay tile and 5,000 sq. ft. of low slope built-up roof. The roof must be watertight and include a 10-year warranty. For the sloped section, all clay tiles must be removed, underlayment replaced, and all tiles reinstalled. Broken tiles must be replaced with the same or an approved equal and placed at the rear of the Fire Department, while all existing tiles should be placed in publicly visible areas for consistency. The low slope section requires the repair of the flat surface, flashings, and installation of coatings to qualify for a 10-year warranty. All roof areas must be prepared according to the Construction Documents.
