Site work for a transportation facility in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Sealed bids are being solicited for a general contract involving the rehabilitation of the asphalt taxiway pavement, replacement of two wind cones, and replacement of Runway 18 REILs at the Pocahontas Municipal Airport. Bids must be submitted on a unit price basis. Bidders are required to download bid documents through the specified online service and ensure they are included in the Plan Holders List to be eligible for bidding. All addenda must be acknowledged in the proposal. The contract is subject to Federal Aviation Administration funding and governed by the Buy American provision as well as federal wage requirements. A 5% bid security is required. Bidders must hold a current Arkansas Contractor's License, comply with all applicable laws, and submit a Contractor's Qualification Statement. The successful bidder must submit a Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities and notify subcontractors accordingly. For qualifying contracts, affirmative action programs must be maintained. Work is to be completed within 65 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. AIP NO. 3-05-0053-021-2026 (AIG) Any person contemplating the submission of a Bid shall have thoroughly examined all of the various parts of these Documents and, should there be any doubt as to the meaning or intent of said Contract Documents, the Bidder should request of the Engineer, in writing (received by the Engineer at least 5 working days prior to bid opening), an interpretation thereof.
