Replacement of the existing pool's cement plaster walls and floor surface, replacement of some of the concrete pool deck, adding concrete stairs with handrails to pool (accessible pool entry/exit), deck equipment anchorage and replacement of pool lift. Bids must be submitted electronically using the provided Google Form link, which will be distributed by addendum. Bids submitted after the specified deadline will not be considered. Each bidder is responsible for ensuring timely submission. All bids must be on the form provided and conform to all contract documents and instructions. A bid bond or cashier's/certified check for ten percent (10%) of the total bid price is required. Mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit attendance is required. The successful bidder must provide a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond. Compliance with specified California regulations is required, and prevailing wages must be paid. The contract, if awarded, will go to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only. The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety days after opening. Pre-qualification Requirements: The bidder must possess an active and in good standing State of California contractor's license A or B. The bidder must be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. Only prequalified bidders may submit bids for this project.
