The project is for Field Renovation and Hard Court Renovation at Harvest Park Middle School. The scope includes demolition of the existing asphalt on the westerly half of the site and repaving the asphalt section over the existing base. Isolated drainage improvement at the southern and easterly edges of the asphalt court area, near existing storm drain infrastructure, is also included. After the asphalt and drainage improvements, low heat acrylic surfacing and striping of various colored athletic courts will be applied. The required State of California contractor's licenses are A or B. Bids must be submitted electronically via Google Form. Only prequalified bidders may submit a bid for public projects involving a projected expenditure of $1 million or more using or planning to use state funds. Bidders must include a bid bond or check for 10% of the total bid price. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond. All work must comply with relevant California codes and labor requirements. The District will award the contract to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount only, and reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities.
