Separate sealed bids are requested for boiler replacements at Bellport High School, including track, bleachers, and gymnasium window replacements. Bids must be received at the School District offices at the specified location and time, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents can be examined at the Office of the Architect or obtained online for a non-refundable fee, with options for digital or hard copies. Bid addenda will be provided to registered plan holders. Bidders are responsible for shipping costs if documents need to be shipped. The bid deposit for hard copies will be refunded if documents are returned in good condition, except for the lowest responsible bidder, whose deposit is forfeited upon contract award. A non-mandatory pre-bid site walkthrough is scheduled at Bellport High School. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or all proposals may be rejected. The School District reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject alternatives, and advertise for new proposals in the best interest of the District.
