Sealed bids are solicited for Contract #34 - Elevator Modernization at Pleasant View Village. Bids must be received at the Office of the Executive Director, Housing Authority of the County of Morris, located at 99 Ketch Road, Morristown, New Jersey 07960. Bids must be submitted in one original and one copy. Failure to provide the notarized, signed, and required documents will result in disqualification. Bid documents become available on March 23, 2026, from BidNet Direct or by contacting Gregory Brown. A Pre-Bid Conference is strongly recommended and will be held at the project site, Pleasant View Village, 221 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Township of Rockaway, NJ. No private job site tours will be provided. Bidder attendance at the Pre-Bid Conference is at their own risk. Questions about the bid documents or contract must be submitted in writing. Clarifications and addenda will be issued in writing and are part of the bidding documents. Bidders must acknowledge all addenda on the Bid Form. Failure to include all addenda and required forms will result in bid disqualification. Each bid must include a Bid Guarantee (Bid Bond) equal to 10% of the bid amount, up to a maximum of $20,000. Bidders must comply with relevant state and federal requirements, including labor standards and nondiscrimination. Small, Minority, and Womens Business Enterprises are encouraged to bid. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance and Payment Bond and execute the contract within seven days of award.
