Proposals are requested for the furnishing of materials and performance of labor necessary for the Mohawk Schools STEAM Renovation at 605 State Highway 231, Sycamore, Ohio 44882. Bids must be submitted in duplicate on forms provided by the architect, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name. A bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or surety company bond in an amount equal to 10% of the total bid, or a bid guaranty bond in an amount equal to 100% of the total bid, must accompany each bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities, or errors in the bids. Contract Documents are available for public inspection and may be purchased from DC Reprographics. Each bidder is responsible for any shipping costs or must provide a shipping number for billing. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the opening. The date and time for receipt of bids may be extended at the owner's discretion. PROJECT SCOPES OF WORK General Construction: Including but not limited to, demolition of existing finishes, flooring, casework, built in bookcases. Removal of small portions of CMU wall for new overhead door and display case. Installation of new flooring, casework, painting, graphics, overhead door, display case. Installation of new circulation desk, marker and tack boards. Plumbing Work: Plumbing works includes, but not limited to: Installation of (2) two new stainless sinks and associated piping and accessories. Routing and connecting new sanitary waste, sanitary vent, and domestic water piping to existing utilities as indicated on plans. HVAC Work: HVAC includes, but not limited to: Relocation of existing supply diffusers within classroom. Installation of new in-line exhaust fan, exhaust ductwork, and vent through the roof for new laser cutter as indicated on plans. Electrical Work: Including but not limited to: Demolition of existing receptacles, light fixtures and lighting controls as indicated on plans. Installation of new receptacles, light fixtures, lighting controls, rough-ins for data devices and power to technology and mechanical equipment as indicated on plans. Technology Work: Including but not limited to: Demolition of existing cabling, installation of new catorey cabling, providing interactive flat panels on mobile carts and salvaging existing project for reinstallation later.
